Key Marketing Group & Communications,
located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was founded in 2001 by Owner
and President Bryan Norris. His vision was to create a
marketing firm equipped to market publishers and ministries
to the Christian Bookseller's Association (CBA) and American
Bookseller's Association (ABA) markets. Bryan recognized
these national venues would open doors and increase opportunities
and circulation for his clients.
Sure enough, business grew and success came. By 2002,
KMG grew to be a full-service sales and marketing
firm selling to key accounts, independent bookstores,
and churches. Through marketing expertise, in-store visits
and convention contacts, KMG accomplished its goals
and provided consultation services to authors, ministries,
and publishers to accommodate their marketing and sales
needs.
Now, KMG launches forward once again, this time
venturing into a new branch of service and taking on a
new name to prove it. In March 2007, KMG became
Key Marketing Group & Communications adding
a public relations division to its services. With more
than 13 years book marketing experience, Bryan felt it
was time to rewrite the book on what a marketing firm
is all about. In addition to sales and marketing as always,
KMGC now offers a full range dimension of publicity
services from complete and premiere media packages targeted
nationally to a la carte services including single press
releases and everything in between. Bryan and his staff now bring a combined 35 plus years of marketing and publicity
experience to KMGC clients.
In 2009, KMGC signed an exclusive agreement to partner with Tate Publishing and Enterprises, LLC, the tenth largest publisher in the country, to exclusively promote and publicize their signed authors. This partnership has proven to be a resounding success and KMGC is proud to be a part of Tate's vision and future in the publishing industry.
Yet, the one thing that has not changed is KMGC's core vision-to function as
a ministry of helps and bless author and publisher clients
as well as stores, churches and the distributors KMGC
serves.
